  In order to ensure successful vacuuming runs, it is best to do a quick Mechanical Check at the beginning of each shift. This should take less than 2 minutes to complete and will save time in the long run by ensuring the best robot performance.

  Instructions

  1. Lift up the Lid Handle until you hear it click into place.
     

  2. Open the Lid and make sure that a bag is installed and fully seated into place.
     If a bag is installed, then the robot is ready. Close the Lid.
     
     

     • If a bag is not installed, then install a new bag (How to Change the Bag) and close the Lid.

  3. Tip the robot onto its side (do not turn the robot upside-down), make sure all 4x Wheels look unobstructed and move them back and forth a bit to make sure they can spin. 
     

     • If the Wheels are clogged, remove any noticeable debris and try again. If the Wheels still do not move, then the robot needs maintenance. Set the robot aside and use a different robot until the Wheel is fixed.

  4. While the robot is on its side, inspect the roller. Make sure you can turn the roller freely and that there is not a large build up of hair or debris.
     

     • If the roller will not turn, remove any noticeable debris and try again. If the roller still will not move, then the robot needs maintenance. Set the robot aside and use a different robot until the Roller is fixed.

  5. Put the robot back down on its wheels. Inspect the Rubber Skirt in the front of the robot. It should be attached properly and not askew or detached.
     

     • If the Rubber Skirt is detached, then the robot needs maintenance. Set the robot aside and use a different robot until the Skirt is fixed.

     • If the Rubber Skirt is damaged or in poor condition, then the robot needs maintenance. Set the robot aside and use a different robot until the Skirt is fixed.

  6. The Pre-Run Mechanical Check is complete.

  Before you run the robot, the room needs to be prepared for it. The main purpose of this process is to make sure that the robot does not leave the room or get stuck on large items such as towels, socks, etc.

  Instructions

  1. Close all doors to the bathroom, hallway, balcony, etc.
  2. Block off any areas you do not want the robot to enter (i.e. areas with hardwood flooring) by placing trash cans or large objects in front of them.
  3. Look throughout the room and remove any large objects that might obstruct the robot. For example, pick up and move any towels, clothes, suitcases, or any object that you would not normally vacuum up.

  Instructions

  1. Follow the Best Practices for Preparing the Room.
  2. Pick the robot up and set it down on the carpet near the room entrance.
  3. Don’t push the robot down hard. Simply place it on the carpet.
  4. Place a fully charged battery into the robot’s battery slot.
     
     
  5. Locate the ON/OFF switch under the corner next to the battery slot.
  6. Flip the switch to the "ON" position.
     
  7. Let the robot boot up.
  8. When the screen displays a PLAY button, it is ready to go. Press the play button and allow the robot to run and clean the room.
     
     
  9. The robot will return to its start point when it is done.

  The robot has a replaceable battery so that it can keep up with the demands of cleaning for a full 8-hour shift. When you remove the battery, it is best to place it into the charger as soon as you can.

  Instructions

  1. If applicable, remove the dead battery from the robot by pulling it up from below.
     

  2. Plug your charger into the wall and flip the switch to “ON.”
     

  3. Place the battery into one of the charger bays.
     

  4. Make sure the battery is fully seated and charging. The LED next to the charger bay will blink as it is charging.
     

  5. When the LED next to the charger bay stays on and stops blinking, you will know that the battery is fully charged. Remove the battery from the charger by pulling it up from below.

  The robot is designed to be run with a disposable bag that collects all of the debris. The bag is disposable to protect the health and safety of the user by minimizing how much the user has to interact with the debris. The robot is less effective when it is run with an overfilled bag, so it is important to check and replace the bag frequently.

  The robot should never be run without a bag for the safety of the user and the robot. In order to ensure that the robot does not run without a bag, the Lid Handle has a safety switch that will not engage unless a bag is installed. If the Lid Handle is sitting straight up, that is a visual indicator that the bag is not installed and therefore the robot will not run.

  Instructions

  1. Lift up the Lid Handle until you hear it click into place.
     

  2. Open the Lid.
     

  3. Remove the bag from the robot by pulling it up by the handles.
     

  4. Evaluate if the bag is full.

     • If the bag feels heavy (weighs above 200g) or the volume of the bag is completely filled, then you should replace it. The bag should be checked every day and will likely need to be replaced every 7-14 days.

  5. Throw the bag away if it is full.

  6. Get a new bag.

  7. Align the slots on the Bag Clip with the mount points the robot and push the bag into place until it is fully seated.
     

  8. Close the lid. With a bag installed, the Lid Handle will automatically go down when the Lid is closed.
